We have ourselves some gratuitous h/c (and more dick jokes.)

This is a weird experience. One minute, I’m enjoying myself among the unashamedly fan-fictiony bickering and secret pining, and the next I’m startled out of my enjoyment by yet another cock suddenly hanging out or another off-putting joke about anuses.

What’s with the obsession for anal jokes? I mean, literally? And the sudden and uncalled-for flashing of male genitalia?
Otherwise, I’m enjoying the trope-y bickering and sparks of involuntary attraction between our enemies-to-lovers MCs.

Yup.

Not a fan of the sudden, in-your-face raunchiness. But I still like the playful, knife-sharp bickering.

I like the tongue-in-cheek humor, and something somehow feels very French about the writing. The fine features arrogance of the MC’s? Possibly.

So far, I like the wry, sassy banter. Curious to see if that’s gonna carry the book or if it’ll get boring or annoying at some point.
