Night and Day: 3.5/5 - A... peculiar play. Hopelessly naïve take on the British press, very odd post-colonial commentary, reads as an excellent thriller with a wonderful creation in Ruth, played variously in the original production by Diana Rigg and Maggie Smith. Also, does the on-stage jeep here in some way anticipate the helicopter in Miss Saigon? Much to consider.
