Why do I keep getting cursed with FMC's that are caving first, forcing the irritating men to be the voice of reason? Maybe it's not fair of me to place a higher expectation on female characters, but it's hard when I'm not satisfied with how they are conducting themselves within it. He has not grovelled enough.
