This is my first Ilona Andrews book, and I want to make it clear that I am very much enjoying the story so far. BUT. These authors really need to learn a thing or two about introducing characters. Every time a new one enters the story, they list out for readers their build (sometimes their specific height and weight), skin color, hair color, hair style, and the color and material of each clothing item. CON'T Literally when four people entered the room, they went through describing them one after another in this manner. And, then if protagonist knows this information, they will infodump about the character's life history. Good gracious!

Listening to the audiobook on Spotify until I get my hands on a print copy. For the record, not in love with the narration. It’s not terrible, but could be better for sure.
