Usually I don't mind dual narration, but one of the narrators is actually so annoying that I can't stomach more than a chapter of her thoughts at a time

I'm not sure how we to explain this, but in a way this feels a bit like a book that was written with the intent of being a movie. It's a bad thing, just interesting. The many graphics in this are interesting too.
