So I haven't read Guns Germs & Steel but so far this book is what I imagine that would be except less chauvanistic lol

This book is so good. easy to read too, and Crosby is pretty funny on top of that. I do like that it really sits at a crossroads between a lot of different academic disciplines too. The summaries of specific time periods and highlights of most important developments are always done effectively and purposely to this thesis. Really, pretty much zero complaints so far. well sourced, engaging, informative.
