Abigail and Brooks go to Chicago where they have the trial. Abigail is very smart and convinces the jury of her innocence and the mafias guilt. She manages to extort one of the two officers that had attacked her and implicate the other one at the same time she faked her death with a butt packet and Brooks shooting at her with a blank a few FBI members were in on it, Brook gets her a bench in her favorite spot.

Home life things mostly they prep for the barbecue Abigail makes an orzo and a big deal about everything. Brooks tries to get some work done and end up getting called over to the church where there is a ruckus or to the book a to do. Blake and his wife got into a yelling match with some of the other towns folk about their son.
At the barbecue, everything goes smoothly Abigail feels what family should be. +wedding

Brooks gets a call from his former captain and tell him that he’s made contact with the woman in the bureau that Elizabeth has been leaking information to. She seems skeptical, but immediately drove to the house of her superior.

She isn’t having any luck and Brooks comes home and starts doing chores. He convinced her to let him move in with her. They make dinner and he proposes to which she freaks out, but says yes. The merging and lending of lives gives her the idea that she needs to get her computer virus to work. She thought of it is two separate parts, but can joined they will be more effective.

The PI and Brooks have a conversation about what’s going to happen next Brooks essentially tells him to leave them alone or he will press charges and make all ruckus of noise for the PI firm, which neither of them wants the PI geologist to Brooks that he kind of hates Justin Blake, and the people he’s working for
Abigail is attempting to create a computer virus that will wipe out the volcov organization

Abigail tells her story to chief blah blah of Little Rock and he seems to believe her he recognizes the case that she’s involved with and some of the details which helps kind of spur the conversation along
Brooks arrest the PI as they had borrowed some of Abigail‘s cameras and caught him breaking into one of the hotel rooms that he is staying at with a lockpick. They got a warrant and found the lock pick set

Abigail is terrified but trust in Brooks opinion they enter house and they bring Bert just in case she needs to flee. She starts to tell him the story of how she got to the Ozarks

After Brooks leaves the diner, the PI goes immediately to Abigail‘s house and wonders through the woods where he’s picked up on Camera. He plays that he’s lost and convinces her but shortly after when Brooks returns, he recognizes the description of the man. They figure him out pretty quick. They feel that time is running slim. Brooks and Abigail visit his old police chief in Little Rock.

The father of the kid who destroyed the hotel has hired a private investigator to look into Brooks and Abigail. He seems to be very good at his job with an easy way of talking to people and quick thinking on his feet he first talks to Sunny and charms her taking photos of her house.
Next he goes to the diner where Brooks happens to walk in and is confronted by Sylvie. She asks why Abigail and not her.

Brooks listened to the story growing more and more angry with her mom and the dirty cops that betrayed her comforted her and that to help her take down the Russians. It seems inevitable at this point that there will be an altercation through Brooks getting involved, but I’m not sure what that will be yet he doesn’t seem fat, but we have seen him display possible poor judgment, and how he handled the just in case
