The most realistic parts of this book are 1) people immediately stake out the grocery stores and threaten any who approach (because assholes, of course) and 2) all three kids wind up in the mom’s bed at night pretty much. ❤️ (Ok, there are a lot of realistic parts. It’s a great book. No Princess Donut, but there is a talking turtle stuffy named Pointy.)

The fact that she immediately selects “Draw Attention” as her first ability so she can protect her three kids… ❤️💔
