Be careful that in your resistance to your father’s ways that you don’t become like your grandfather!
Apparently early radical feminist ideas largely villainized the man and wholesale suggested all men intentionally and gladly took advantage of patriarchy,
but later in the 20th century shifting toward seeing patriarchy as hurting everyone developed, hooks says men must be involved in the movement as well.

Perhaps if he had taken the time to say to me, ‘Son, I don’t know the answer to that, let’s look it up together and find out.’”
