Finished Red Mountain Rising. A lot of life happened to me since the last book (I lost my wife to cancer). It was nice to return to these characters. Like seeing old friends. I laughed and I cried. I look forward to returning to Red Mountain again soon!

That one had me teared up right to the last page. Have to take a break and let that all settle in before I return for the next book.

I am currently finishing the first book in this set, Red Mountain, and I am surprised and delighted at how much I am enjoying this book! It feels like just what I was looking for when I needed it. There's been laughter, smiles, tears and heartache - but is a totally human, feel good read. I already look forward to returning to Red Mountain soon. (I am happy there are three more books waiting for me!)
