Transitioned to audio format about halfway thru becuz I was struggling w/ boredom. Contemplated DNF-ing but had already read more than half so... meh
- Repetitive, Tells (Doesn't Show), Amnesia Trope (ugh), Kinda Pretentious Prose, On the Nose w/Themes. There's not a single character I love, they're all just ok

FMC is a bit obnoxious, there's so much repetition + back & forth in her internal monologue i.e. 'he's my enemy, no I care for him, but wait no I hate him, but maybe I love him? No but actually he's the devil' ಥ_ಥ
Also, they mention the word immortal A LOT, as well as God of War. Do not make it a drinking game - you'll die

Again, feels like I've read this story already, which is so common for me with YA novels *sigh* Kinda reminding me Gods of Jade and Shadow by SMG and I LOVED that book. I'm in danger of comparison reading
