grandma finding out she has a grandkid storyline could have been a novella jfc. I have a feeling this is going in my fuck-me-i-should-have-dnfed shelf. the only way im giving this as high as a 3 if it majorly redeems itself in the end. u kno its ruff when a story brings you down from 2 redbulls

I am so amused and entertained by this book??? I can't believe it has a mediocre rating on GR. It's just my type of silly and I don't think there was any intention of this narrative being 'serious' tbh. I can't recall the last time I was this enthralled by a book edition and format either. Loving all the doodles and excerpts.

Every year my dad and I exchange one book recommendation to ensure we read a bit out of our comfort zones - which is the only reason why I'm reading this 😶.

Let's just say economic fiction is not for me but otherwise this book is ok? I don't actively hate it but I 100% would not have picked this up on my own.
