something about dis book feels disjointed, it really couldve benefitted from a tighter narrative structure w/a clearer flow. pacing feels a bit stop-and-go.
tbh i won't pick up dis author's work again, i don't think her writing style is for me. still plan on finishing this but did contemplate dnfing.
no likeable characters, so much racism + microaggressions, like, they even feel oddly placed?? shock value maybe.

Was not expecting this book to take place in Florida and involve CSA w/ one of the main POV being the mother of the perp - who supports + loves her son no matter what. Decided to keep on reading after reflecting on whether or not this would trigger me and... it's fine? Having a LOT of thots tho.
Only graphic scene so far is between a FMC and her gf.
Don't quite think this style of narrative structuring is for me.
