Harry tries to break the ice with Iain. He teaches him how to duel and then he introduces him to his new squire horse with one eye, which has much of an attitude as Iain.

Harry learn’s the scottish boy Iain’s name. From gaelic translation his name means Johnny son of Malcom. Iain means John.

Harry is knighted. A small war party and himself are on a mission Harry is unaware of. They raid a scottish castle and capture a Scottish boy who may be of nobility given his mother’s royal gown, despite being murdered. Harry feels remorse for his party slaughtering innocents and is taken back by the real means of war. He holds sympathy for the scottish boy and sneaks him water while keeping him prisoner.

Harry is knighted by the king even though he didn’t accomplish anything.
