Wolf shifter Maggie is in danger from all sides. The Vampires were trying to protect her but now she is back in wolf territory several groups are trying to capture or kill her. She is being protected by Terrent Vilks a lone wolf living with the tribe. He claims he was her mate before she disappeared years ago. She has no memory of this arrangement.

Maggie the wolf shifter has amnesia of what happened to her 10 yrs ago before she was kidnapped. She was rescued and has been living with vampires. Now the king has sent her back to the wolves to check out who is tampering with a vaccine. Unknown to her Terrent Vilks the wolf is supposed to watch out for her. He it turns out is allegedly her mate? She has no recall of this but now demons and Kurjans are after her.
