I've read the first book "The Fallen" now. Initially, I remember finding the premise quite interesting being a teenager myself at the time I first read it and watched the show.

Picking this up again, I actually hated it. The language is dated and she is quite girly and annoying. But I came to really like it because she's acting her age and doing the best in her situation.

Everything from here on will be new to me.
