I'm really loving this brand of sci fi. it's not "science fiction" in a classic, futuristic/detached/imaginative kind of way (although I love that too), it's very genuinely speculative science fiction, which is super fun. it reminds me why I decided to study science and why it excites me!

this is a really fun one to audiobook for my commutes into work. I saw this twice in theaters but even though I know what happens I am really enjoying all the additional details in the book
