Meh conclusion. 2*

Figured out the problem with this book. Persephone’s character and her relationship with Hades isn’t developed on page beyond the initial period where she’s an unwilling captive being abused by Hades. Feels like the author enjoyed writing her non con scenes then ran out of steam for the rest of the book. So when Persephone returns to Demeter it’s like no time has passed and reverts to her childish self.

Book fell off after the first half. Not funny or particularly interesting. Persephone’s relationship with Demeter is very immature given her underground experience. Sigh. Good first half though. Need to finish this. Solid 2*

Also the narrator of this audiobook ain’t doing the book any Favours if this is supposed to dark erotica. It just ends up sounding like reading the morning paper. Which is incredibly funny given what she’s reading. Hilarious!
