The need to have something that is normally a traumatic event to happen because your own sense of self and what you experience has you feeling so far removed from the usual human experience, you want to have this trauma to feel usual

Genuinely I don’t really know what to say, it’s just a book to read to get perspective. I know being able to read books is a privilege but I never considered the levels to it, such as having access to books but not having the physical ability and strength to hold up a book or look down at the words.
