Chapter 1 by itself was the length of 4 typical manga chapters, and I gotta say, what an amazing start! Best cold open to any of the manga I’ve read thus far! (Tho I suppose that doesn’t say much, since I’ve only read a handful of manga at this point).

Next couple chapters were also pretty lengthy, and comparably great. Chapter 3 seems to be the start of an extended flashback sequence. No notes, just really enjoying this.
The art is also really great. Yukimura imbues so much motion into many panels - sometimes quite literally - and I’m a big fan of the style to make it work.
