okay loving the roman empire part! interesting how plagues impacted/lead to the downfall of Roman empire as well as the rise of christianty. also author acknowledges eurocentric views in history and then proceeds to to take a eurocentric focus at least when talking about ancient plagues. I want to hear about ancient Chinese plagues! ancient african epidemics! ancient indian ones! south america pre colonialism!
