Just realized, this is my first time listening to Hunt the Villain since listening to Tempting Venom (and also since the recent breadcrumb drops from Rina re: Cy and Jethro). I'm gonna be SO much more fascinated by every little bit of Cyrus this time through.

On chapter 34, and while it's not necessarily the most taxing of his work, it's still a chapter that reminds me that as good as Teddy Hamilton and many of the other most popular narrators are, I think people mostly prefer them for their voices, and I'd take Grayson Owens over Teddy Hamilton for acting skill any day.

(Haven't heard Shane East in too much, but he did some good work as Brandon, and TH was good as Niko)

Very interesting wrapping up my HtV re-listen after finishing Tempting Venom (twice). IYKYK

Grayson Owens as Vaughn talking about Gareth (who is played by Grayson Owens in his own book, at least) makes me laugh).

What is it with modern romance books not having any concept of bacitracin or iodine? The only wound antiseptics that seem to exist are ones that sting.

Feeling like shit and started a comfort re-listen.
I swear, I'll eat my feet if Cy isn't the kid of one of the Vencor founders.
