Firstly, we're seriously going to skip past four years without any explanation???
Secondly, Kai's persistent absence?? If you're going to use him to further your plot especially the plot twist at the end of Metal Slinger, do it on page. He's been off page for 75% in MS and I don't see him in this one either. Just bits and pieces about him makes no sense.

These two main characters are so unlikable and their personality is non existent in this. Jo was already a very hit or miss character. But oof Acker is just giving me the ick here.

Not in a good drama way. But it lacks structure. The storytelling is mediocre at best. Even if this isn't the last book, I'm not coming back to it :/
