SAME! I rage-read this entire book. 😂 And don’t even get me started on the “twist” in Metal Slinger. Absolute nonsense considering it was written in first-person POV. I still gave the sequel a chance because the magic system had so much potential. I thought, Okay, now we’ll finally see her stand by her principles, fight for the people she’s supposedly sacrificed everything for, and actually do something. Instead? We got… weird jealousy, endless pining, and approximately zero meaningful action. The plot clocked out and never came back.
I’m still irrationally angry that I read this book and rant every time I get the chance 😂🥴🤷‍♀️

honestly after metal wielder, i wanted to rage read this one but i just COULDNT do it.

It’s like…really bad. I was reading it during vacation and couldn’t focus for more than 4 pages without dying of boredom. I don’t think I’ve ever been so bored with a book.

So many books, too little time...If it does not grab me in the first 100 pages, I don't waste my time.

😭 I’ve not seen one good thing about this so I’m not surprised but it still sucks nothing has been enjoyable. I understand you tho as the need to know and validation in doing so is needed. I hope the rest isn’t too much of a pain to get through

Ahhh! I’ve been seeing such bad reviews on this and it was such a highly anticipated read for me but I’m scared to even try with all this bad reviews and the time jump I’ve heard it starts with makes me sad. I can’t wait to see what you actually think of this
