This book has an annoying habit of constantly using commas when something else like a semicolon/dash/period should be used.
Eg "“I would never harm Anam,” I uttered, knowing it was true when I still had control of who I was, but with the djinn power, how could I know for sure?"
Like that isn’t even a proper sentence.

It’s not offensively bad, I’m just not loving it. It’s just fine. The characters are ok, Noor has completely lost her character for some reason, and I’m not sure why we keep getting random flashbacks.
