not loving the worldbuilding
this mystery behind their temples and goddess
it seems obvious with all these hints
the temple is either some advanced aliens taken control of their females
making them give offerings of their jizz and other glowy rocks
some kind of known galactic conservation of this species
or its somehow their females doing it
