More entertaining than expected. More of an emotionally narrative experience than I was expecting but I suppose it accomplishes the goal of the book: to provide a guided outlook on the depth and breadth of the effects of microorganism on humanity. I see it as a bridge between scientific papers and well-backed opinion pieces in the NYT.

Switched to an audiobook. I read most of Foundation and listened to all of George Washington: A Life (900 page book) before returning to read the second chapter haha. I’ve heard from my buddy Dalton that it gets better from here…
