Before I forget. Wow! I have never read Faulkner before (was trying to read A Fable last year and read some commentaries on that, but didn't actually read), so this was a pretty cool scene to witness!
When Cora tells Addie not to worship her child over Him/God. I mean, that's what every God-fearing person is taught. I've just never seen it printed in non religious text before. I guess I never really knew Faulkner.

I'm so on the fence about reading a Faulkner book. I loved one of his books when I read it in college but then I read another one and it was terrible.
