The rhythm and cadence of the prose in this one is very similar to the voice used in Fable (which I just reread, and I think is Young’s best work). While the two books have nothing in common, they feel so similar because of this, so I’m very interested to see how the story will continue to take shape— knowing what I know about Young’s writing style and how the narrative was built in Fable
