Do you like the book? I thought its kind of bland

I like it but don't love it, at least not yet. It's very slow. The characters are great though, and I'm definitely interested in some of the mysteries and when things are going to really converge and get crazy.

What i like about barker is his superb imagination, in long story format it doesn't work for me tho because i found the characters a bit one dimensional, i recommend you the check out his short horror compilation, thats where he is superb
