This book is really starting to make me rolls my eyes. There are so many moments where the big baddie is killable, but of course our characters always decide that No wait! Maybe we shouldn't kill him. Or maybe we should instead kill him in this other way that obviously won't work! It's ridiculous and it happens too much and this book is way too damn long for its own good even though Barker is a great writer.
