(Note: i find the descriptions of Jace and Clary's hero lore hilarious.What do you mean there is a painting of the two of them riding a vampire motorcycle? What do you mean Clary created a contraceptive rune? Love it (after Jace bringing protection to Edom, it kind of tracks... you never know when sexy time may arise, hell dimension or not))

three thirds read and not much has happened???
I'm not sure i like emma that much tbh. The book is extremely repetitive in certain aspects. I don't connect with the characters as much. I only like Mark. And for a doomed love story there isn't enough drama. meh meh meh.

I love Mark Blackthorn, he is carrying this book for me. I miss Jace and Simon and their sarcastic and funny comments. I think this book is a bit more slow paced than other Shadowhunters books, with less action and a bit less dialogue too. I am invested, but I don't laugh as much.
