I need to force myself to stop, or I'm not going to get any writing done today.
Emily does an AMAZING job of incorporating exposition and action. I'm so hooked, but it's never an info dump or too much worldbuilding at once. I'm very impressed. Also, her POV differentiation is SPECTACULAR, especially for both first-person POVs.

Literally captivated within the first 2 pages. The worldbuilding is actually insane, and I'm already so attached to the characters. There are so many things teased too!
And dragons. I haven't read a good fantasy novel with dragons in forever, and I know this is going to be LIT. Calliope's POV is FIRE.

I SHALL NEVER STOP! (Well, my space opera's kind of stopped right now, but that's future Keira's problem. You do not need my books like air, girlypop.)Yes, their voices are very different and very well done! Calliope's chapters are my favorite, though.

Yes I do *crosses arms indignantly* Wow that’s amazing, thank you! And you wouldn’t be the first, Samuel’s favorite chapters were Calliope’s too. She’s his absolute favorite character (he even said she would be on his book wives list, like I have a book husbands list 🤣)
