Yu An is extremely jealous. His boyfriend is extremely loyal. Which would work if it wasn’t for the fact that Yu An keeps running into his past selves, resulting in him being jealous of himself and Zhao Ran getting stuck in the middle of it, clueless what to do and which Yu An to pick - he’d be fine with having two Yu Ans, but they would literally kill each other fighting over Zhao Ran. Don’t time travel, kids

The craziest thing is that if you described the plot of this book to me I would NOT be interested in reading this. But I am absolutely loving it!

The fact that Zhao Ran’s nipple piercings with the chain connecting them are visible through his shirt has got me going feral

Halfway done, woo! As much as I usually dislike time travel, this is kinda well done, I love seeing past Yu An and most of all past Zhao Ran - much stronger but also more monstrous. And I really like the loop - future Yu An teaches past Zhao Ran who later teaches amnesiac future Yu An, ahah. And past Yu An just needs soooo many hugs. Good thing his boyfriend has an unlimited number of arms.

Dangers of time travel: you might make a grotesque monster made out of arms fall in love with you, causing it to find you in the past (but it's not you, it's younger you), thus making it doubt whether it found the correct person plus making your (possessive and jealous) past self extremely frustrated because their boyfriend is in love with their future self (you). And you might have to pretend you are your own son.

I looooove how Zhao Ran is all about the sun, his powers are shining and golden, his symbol is a sun, he radiates warmth, his real form is round like the sun... but he also can't stand real sunlight because it literally drains him of life, strength and even colour. He is a little fake sun of the polar night.
