This was a nice surprise took a while to get through as I really had to listen with the old English that was used. But I enjoyed the MCs both desperate for love and affection. With his mom dying young and wife killing herself and FMC treated horribly by her father. The writing was beautiful and felt their connection. Loved the banter and even his son was a nice addition
