A lot I can relate to - the attempts to resolve differences especially. And I wonder how many of my fights over social things with the ex had their origin here. Still, I’m a bit sick of avoidants and men always being the villains.

The section on improving anxious/avoidant dynamics will need rereading. It will take two to tango though.

I read the section on avoidant attachment, in which avoidants are blamed for everything. I had the uncomfortable feeling of being back in marriage counseling where my wife and her psychologist teamed up to tell me it was all my fault. I don’t know what the authors are trying to achieve but my dominant emotion this moment is volcanoes c bitterness.
