I have put this back on the list as part of the Ray Bradbury challenge. So, this might take a while to finish.

As I think I've said before I'm working through this very slowly. But I'm really enjoying it. They way he brings the countryside to life is great. I love his 'moody crows' or as they as is later 'melancholy crow'

This is my big poetry read. It's going to be slow progress so I'll only update it on a weekly basis. So far though it's pretty good. His poetry of the countryside, from an ordinary rural workers perspective is pretty beautiful. Tom Paulin in his introduction says 'Although John Clare's genius has yet to be properly acknowledged...he is England's greatest nature poet...'

So far so mostly impressed. His nature writing is superb.
