cannot impress upon you how much i ADORE this audiobook and its narrator. incredible work for a 31hr piece. i am this close to just spending too much money on the audio for the sequel. my god.

this is like a kinder less convoluted version of a chorus of dragons, which is to say nothing like a chorus of dragons but maaaan i love high fantasy worlds and characters :,)

objectively not a lot happens in this book so when something DOES happen it has me gasping and yelling WHAT!!!! at the top of my lungs
