Finished A Second-Rate Woman
I’m sold on Kipling’s stories
I’m enjoying this

Started the next story about Mrs. Hauksbee and Mrs. Mallowe…The Second-Rate Woman
I love this gossipy pair!

Finished The Hill Of Illusion.
Kipling’s has a way with soap opera stories
He was way ahead of his time🤣❤️

Finished A Wayside Comedy.
Favorite quip:
“…the folly of her useless truthfulness…”

Thinking of Cary Grant as Boulte and Jimmy Stewart as Kurrell.

Finished A Wayside Comedy.
Which should be titled A Terribly Funny Farce.
Loved the description of the Man’s Wife:
“…deadily learned and evil-instructed…”

I KNOW women to whom that would apply!❣️

Finished The Education of Otis Yeere
Quite the turnabout tale.
I would have cast Norma Shearer and Joan Crawford 🥰❤️

Believe I am growing to like this Rudyard Kipling fellow’s sense of humor. 😆
Currently reading The Education Of Otis Yeere. About 1/2 way through.
If you’ve ever seen an old B&W movie called The Women? You would understand completely my love of this story.

Finished The Finest Story In The World.
It’s odd, captivating, and compelling.
It involves storytelling, writing, and past life incarnation.
It was cool 🆒😆

A little farther into The Finest Story In The World.
A quote to make everyone giggle (via the teller of the story):
“I winced at the thought of my story being ruined by a housemaid.”
😆😆😆😆😆

1/2 way through The Finest Story In The World.
And it might just be ❤️🤣
