lmao wtf am I reading anymore.
The male MC's perspective reads like a teenage edge lord's wet dream. How is all of this not excusing rape when the guy's vigilantism is written to be a part of his supposed good nature and NOT because he's a psycho-sadist? This isn't dark romance—it's a rape fantasy.

The most unbelievable thing in this book is that a psychopath would become a vigilante to save human trafficking victims...

Stalker-Dude's narration sounds way too similar to Adeline's. He uses the same descriptors that Adeline uses for herself. Worst thing about shared 1st-POV stories is when the narrators sound like each other. It's like they have no personalities of their own. Bummer.
