Serious timeline problem !!
Elizabeth leaves Pemberley in a hurry, she is going south by carriage with the Gardiners. Darcy leaves Pemberley hours after them by horse, and yet instead of easily catching with with them on the road, it’s three days AFTER Elizabeth has already arrived to Longbourn (explicitly, Lizzy says it’s been a week since Pemberley!) and he is not arrived yet — bonkers!

This “story” is one never-ending timeloop on which Miss Bingley tries to manage Georgiana, Georgiana is pained by it, Darcy notices, there is some subtle rebellion, Miss Bingley is too-subtly put in her place, Darcy ponders about how he should have noticed this and prevented it… and then the exact same thing happens all over again without any plot advancement !!

Watching Lydia at Pemberley interacting with Georgiana is entertaining, even endearing. But the clever repartee, besides being formulaic, hides a parade of puzzling open-ended subplots…
What was Bingley’s reaction meetinf the Bennet sisters at Pemberly? Did Miss Bingley acknowledge in any way visiting the Gardiners’ home in London? Why Bingley only laughs at Lydia but doesn’t ask about the Bennets back home?

Bad omen here… this particular sentence structure raises some red flags, doesn’t it ??

Nearly every dialogue consists of a three piece structure >>
1) a simple statement
2) an answering denial or negative formula
3) an ammended reply incorporating the denial, now in positive form, often metaphoric or abstract
It’s formumaic and tiresome. This is why readers suspect so many authora use AI — more so when used for filler scenes !

No Jaineite would make that mistake ! This is the sort of nonsense that pushes readers to suspect it’s AI — total red flag.Not only do we know how far both estates are, but anyone with a working brain and common sense knows that if one party starts a 3 day journey with an advantage on speed (horse over carriage), starting only a few hours later, there’s no way on Earth on which they will arrive 7 day later… excepting the possibility of being abducted by fairies !
