At the bottom of the page, I feel like the description of the fight becomes very strange. It seems like details are being repeated one sentence after the other.

It’s not as bad with more context. I don’t really have any issue with the story itself, just the way it’s written throws me off sometimes. It feels sort of jarring in a way to, to be reading a book and see somewhat modern memes and references to social media.

Started reading this on my lunch at work, almost finished 2 chapters in 30min so not bad. These aliens seem to know a lot about human culture for not really caring about the life that had been on the planet. Not a bad read so far, but also feels a little too goofy at times. Hoping to finish this by Sunday.

e the time to use the bathroom. Sometimes it feels like the author cares more about the mundane details, like eating, using the bathroom, and washing, than they’re taking time to explain more about the setting. There’s a good amount of description of the world around them, but I feel like there could be more. It seems hard to visualize the general layout of the dungeon, like how the hallways and such look outside of boss fights. I’d rather hear more about the texture of the ground or how the walls are pieces together than more descriptions of bathrooms.

I started reading this book about 6 days ago, but honestly a lot of those days I was too tired or lazy to read. Most of my reading was done in chunks on like 3 or 4 of those 6 days. Including today anyway.
