Explicit government regulations made it impossible for black workers to get loans to actually get housing, World War II government restricted buildings civilian homes which is interesting, union of automotive workers forced Henry Ford to keep black workers even after the war ended, Black folks would drive hours to work there for the solid income. White flight -> blockbusting inflated house sales to desperate blacks.
