Why did they strip a woman for being with a black man. To this day, they have no regard for privacy or the body through surveillance +/voyeurism. Forcibly altering sexes retaliation, to Muslim woman, or more, which is hate and religious discrimination, usurping rights of the Creator to make it ‘acceptable’. Nothing halal about surveillance, invading bodily privacy and rights, mocking “never fully dressed’.

Indian sepoys were told if they fought in the First World War they would be fighting for India’s freedom. Even the highest ranking sepoy ranked lower than the lowest ranking white soldier. Their stay at the hospital, segregated, was surrounded by barbed wire so they couldn’t mixed with locals. 74,000 sepoys died fighting in the war, but they were not granted freedom. That’s treachery.

So gross when white people disenfranchise someone when there was a chance/chances not to and essentially make a non white person a modern slave. Please if you are ever in positions of power do not hand of your own people from your own community to such people, do not choose your own gain, ambition, desire or whatever at the expense of vulnerable people in your own community. That’s basically murder.

In northanger abbey, Catherine talks about how central England + England as a whole would never murder because it’s a Christian country, but it was written in 1790’s + the slave trade was going on in Britain since 1562 + Liverpool was the biggest slave port. I would say cognitive dissonance or integrity didn’t extend to their treatment of black people. Either that or it’s rewriting history.

People of colour, non white, I don’t really personally adhere to the semantic part for this terminology. I remember a few months ago someone tried to, definitely a paid post, say the word disabled is bad which is a reach, but the whole point is that disabled people are referred to as disabled, it gets the most reach so trying to assign another term is to try + limit reach. It was obviously illogical + manipulation.
