still not nearly as invested as i was in city&city and embassytown. i kinda don't care about king rat's whole deal. natasha's music making and the police having to reckon with a vanishing are the most interesting parts so far.

yeah ok when they break down his door i was getting into the story, but so far the escape with king rat is not really all that. i am curious to see where the story goes though i'm not as hooked as with embassytown or city & the city
