ending does go kinda hard. even if that final line is very comedic.

it's barreling toward a climax and sometimes it slaps you with a really good description of something. mostly excited for it to end.

Strongly considering not finishing this because i am so not into it. I feel like i'm wasting my time

still not nearly as invested as i was in city&city and embassytown. i kinda don't care about king rat's whole deal. natasha's music making and the police having to reckon with a vanishing are the most interesting parts so far.

yeah ok when they break down his door i was getting into the story, but so far the escape with king rat is not really all that. i am curious to see where the story goes though i'm not as hooked as with embassytown or city & the city
