How horrifying that a sick person who relies on restaurants to feed themselves because of weakness in strength, ability and chronic fatigue is painted as a glutton when in reality they are a sick person surviving through a means that is most easy on their health. How can torturing a person do any good? Yep. The Prophet (SAWS) saw a person/people being tortured and he stopped it, he advocated mercy.

Human beings try to portray trials etc as divine judgement (as in day of judgement, yep) to show that this is divine will but it’s humans attempting to play the role. Even a gathering of different demographics doesn’t demonstrate justice was served (it could be bribery, coercion, etc), but that it simply wants to present it as that image & cover up the truth. Would God be pleased with a cover up?
