Between Two Fires is already completely unhinged. Sir Thomas and the little girl have been through an absolutely insane gauntlet so far from the giant devil eel to the Party of Sin, with all the demons and the jousting. Somehow every chapter manages to get stranger than the last.
I’m also very suspicious of the girl. She’s clearly not a normal kid, especially with her quest for God.
