These books are so painfully bad. Even with a compelling storyline about a homeless FMC it’s still like pulling teeth to get through it. The circle of trust or whatever between the guys is so corny and unbelievable. Oh and it’s in all the books 🔫. Mmc is 31 FMC 21 and there’s daddy kink. Gross and calling her baby girl.

Also all his scheming to get her is annoying and really goes out of the way to destroy her sense of safety and self-esteem. It’s too predatory for such a vulnerable and young FMC. Just not handled well. I know that’s the point of them to be unhinged and they vet the top mmc for their girl but just a turn off
