It’s very well written and has some very entertaining segments, but it’s like a series of vignettes or seemingly disparate stories spanning different time periods. I got about 1/4 through, and might have eventually finished if my borrow time was more than 2 weeks—I just didn’t have that thirst to read through as I have with other books. I bet there’s a great payoff and eventual connection between stories

Good overall, but I only had a 2 week loan, and couldn’t quite get into a fast paced rhythm. The disparate stories and timelines will obviously connect at the end, but the gap between them didn’t create an urgency or excitement to finish the story. I’d probably eventually finish if I had more time.
